Katie graduated from University College Dublin in 2017 with a BSc in Physiotherapy. She worked in a sub-acute stroke and rehabilitation hospital in Limerick treating stroke patients prior to getting them discharged home and also rehabilitation in the older adult population with Parkinsons, MS & post fracture among other conditions. Following that, Katie worked in a community clinic, treating a range of conditions including fractures, low back pain & post surgical. Katie previously spent 2 months in India volunteering in a children’s rehabilitation centre, many of whom had neurological conditions and intellectual disabilities. While working in Ireland, Katie assisted a boys minor gaelic football team and a junior women’s gaelic football team with pitch side physiotherapy and injury prevention.
Katie moved to Queenstown to embrace the outdoors in good weather, which can be hard to find in Ireland! Katie loves skiing, snowboarding, hiking and rugby.
