Kaisa graduated from Tampere University of Applied Sciences (Finland) in 2011 with a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy. Working self-employed for 7 years she discovered that her passion lies in manual therapy and massage. In 2018 she followed her dream to travel to New Zealand. Kaisa is not a New Zealand registered physiotherapist and therefore she has worked solely as a massage therapist since arriving into New Zealand. In 10 years of working as a physiotherapist and massage therapist she has had a wide spectrum of experience from passive postural problems to rehabilitating sports injuries. With her background in physiotherapy her anatomy and physiology knowledge is strong and with a quick assessment of the body she can decide the most beneficial style of massage and the extent of the area. Kaisa is currently studying Craniosacral therapy to improve her knowledge and manual skills even further.

Kaisa is a member of Massage New Zealand (MNZ) which is the massage therapy specific membership body in New Zealand for professional Massage Therapists.

When not at work, Kaisa is either outdoors hiking, at the gym pumping iron, practicing yoga or most likely you will find her in the sauna or swimming in the lake.
