Physiotherapist / Massage Therapist
Odett graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from Hochschule 21 in cooperation with the University Medical Centre Hamburg-Eppendorf (Germany). Moving to New Zealand permanently in 2018, she followed her dream to settle down in Queenstown and become a resident.
Odett worked in musculoskeletal physiotherapy roles in private practice and uses a mixture of education, manual therapy, functional assessments as well as strength and conditioning alongside promoting self-management.
She is passionate about connecting with people to support working through their physical and overall well-being struggles that come with injury and has discovered early on that her passion lies in the rehabilitation and education of chronic back pain patients.
Having also worked as a massage therapist over the last years, Odett is skilled in a variety of hands-on treatments like clinical sports massage, trigger point release and remedial massage.
When not at work, Odett can be found enjoying the surrounding mountains – hiking and trail running, as well as hitting the badminton courts over the winter season.
